What nutrients are in Spirulina we hear you ask?

Well, the protein in Spirulina contains all 8 essential amino acids which make it a complete protein product. It calso ontains an amazingly high vegetable source of Vitamin B-12, and vitamins A, B-1, B-2, B-6 and K.

Spirulina also provides a wide variety of minerals, trace elements, cell salts, phytonutrients and enzymes, as well as chlorophyll.

So how does Spirulina compare to other foods?

Spirulina contains: Protein (60-70% of its weight), Vitamin B12, Chlorophyll (2x richer than barley grass or wheatgrass), Iron (58x richer than spinach), Anti-oxidants (25x richer in beta-carotene than carrot and 3x richer in Vitamin E than wheatgerm) and Calcium (10x richer than milk).
